Massimo Corizza was born on September 29, 1957 and had his artistic debut at 3 y.o. in "Miracle of Marcellino", with the adaptation of Don Raffaello Lavagna at Ridotto of Theatre Eliseo in Rome, followed by a long and successfull italian tour.
He also
starred in "Children are right" by the same Don Lavagna, a drama that faced the difficult problem of divorce, well before 1970, when it was legalized in Italy, "Tales from heart, a schoolboy's a journal" by Edmondo De Amicis, with some renown actors such as Antonio Crast, Ave ninchi, Loretta Goggi, Aldo Reggiani.
"Life with father"
with Paolo Stoppa and Rina Morelli and many plays with famous artists like Giorgio Albertazzi and Anna Proclemer.
At the same time
he had a leading part in various TV commercials (for the popular ads TV show Carosello) that advertised quality products such as Dinamo powder soap, Charms candies, Tin Tin Alemagna's snacks, Findus frozen food...
The dubbing of these spots was accomplished in Fono Roma, one of the biggest recording studios of the capital city and in these surroundings he was noticed and engaged by S.A.S. to start his still successfull career as film and TV dubber. But his stage
performances carried on with "Lillo and his big day" directed by Andrea Camilleri at Centrale Theatre in Rome, followed by a long italian tour, with a prestigious cast of brilliant actors and dancers: Franco Sportelli, Adriano Micantoni, Emy Eco, Elena Sedlak and Paolo Gozlino.
He co-starred
with Gastone Pescucci and the Riccardo Cavallo's Company at Chanson and Abaco Theatres in Rome in various plays and musical shoes such as "Today Sponsor", "Gastonaccio Show" (also recorded by some private TV networks), "The Marcolfa", "The fake patient woman", "He who steals a foot is lucky in love", "Loot"... He also
appeared in the TV show "A night with Vittorio Caprioli" on Rai 2, in three live plays on Rai 3 directed by Marco Sestrieri and in "Une bail pour l'eternitè", a TV movie for the french TV network ORTF, starring Vittorio Mezzogiorno, Francoise Fabian, Jean Louis Trintignan and Giacomo Piperno.
Massimo was one
of the leading actors in various radio plays on Rai 1, Rai 2 and Rai 3 and his voice could be successfully heard not only in many radio ads for Playstation, Intermarche, Valle and Quirini Theatres, Tim, Lotto, Micra, Valtur...but also
in popular PC and console games.
In 2002
he joined Ilaria Stagni, Barbara Castracane, Andrea Bianchi, Germano Basile, Monica Ward, Edoardo Nevola and Angela Citterich in the summer musical show "Love Notes" that took place in the Castel S. Angelo's Gardens in Rome.
He translated
and adapted the script of "Snoopy the musical", staged by the Riccardo Cavallo's Company in various theatres and years.
With his
continuous activity of dubber, dubbing director and dialogue adaptor Massimo is still contributing to the success of many feature films, TV movies, TV and animated series.
